How do I participate?
It is easy to sign up, you can:
-Turn in one of the flyers if you attend a participating school
or
-Fill out the registration form below
Please feel free to e-mail us if you have any questions [email protected]
Helpful Tips for Participants:
Put a note on your Birthday invitation asking people to bring donations, rather than gifts.
Below is an example of what Landon had on his invitation last year:
Landon has decided to forfeit any gifts this year in lieu of a charitable donation. If you would like to contribute, he is going to make a single donation, in his name, to our local CIC Children’s Neighborhood. Cash or checks are fine.
Please make checks payable to CIC and add Give a Birthday in the memo section.
You can cut and paste if you like, just replace Landon’s name with the participants name and change pronouns if needed.
You may bring the money just as you received it, cash and checks together in the same envelope.
What happens if I decide to participate?
Each person who participates will have a picture taken of them while making their presentation. You will also receive a special certificate and goody bag to thank you for your gift to CIC Children’s Neighborhood. The picture
will be mailed to you as a reminder of your beautifully expressed generosity and concern.
Bay Area Awards of Niceville, Florida, has generously agreed to donate trophies to each individual who participates in this program.
All Okaloosa and Walton county students, you will be able to apply your Give a Birthday money to your schools Change for Children Campaign total at the end of the year! You can find out more about Change for Children at http://childrenincrisisfl.org/help/giving/change-for-children/.
It is very simple and extremely rewarding to participate in this project. It is amazing what a difference one
person can make! You are really special if you decide to participate. This experience will be something you
will always remember and you cannot put a price on that!
The Children’s Neighborhood, Okaloosa County Schools, and Liza Jackson Preparatory School are partnered with us on this project. The Neighborhood (CIC) is truly grateful for you kindness and generosity.
We are here for you if you need any help… please e-mail us!
THANK
YOU!
